I understand that to mean that there have been no recent developments, certainly nothing new since the last time the issue was debated on this forum.

There has certainly been no 'new' official news from City.

To be honest I think we have more immediate and pressing issues to worry about over the next week. Let's not get distracted by this story engineered by United in their desparation to bring this issue to the forefront and force a decision on City when it's much more sensible to wait.

Is anybody else convinced that selling Milton Road and ploughing our funds into United and the Abbey Stadium will secure the long term future of either club?

There is a world of difference between coming to their financial salvation in the short term and providing long term funding for future development. Why waste the capital from the sale of Milton Road in clearing United's debts when, if we do decide to sell the ground, we could make a much larger proportion of that money work for us by investigating the alternatives that might be available.
