Several times in recent years. Five years ago we needed to win our last three games to survive, against Ashford, Chelmsford and Merthyr, and on that occasion we managed to do it, thanks mainly to Neil Harris.
Neil won the game against Ashford virtually on his own with four goals. I wish we had Neil in the team now, but we haven`t.
Ashford were struggling to avoid the drop with us that year. And this season finds us in a similar tight corner, but instead of Ashford, its Hednesford. Tuesdays game will be a close game , maybe a an odd goal win for either side. I`m just glad we are at home, because if the team can reproduce the form of the last two home games , we would have a great chance. If Hednesford are successful then good luck to them.
