The word "gullable" springs to mind if you think Harwood's statement is anything other than a way to try and force City's hand, and if you believe Cambridge Utd have other sources of finance substantial enough to finish your redevelopment, then you truly are deluded.

The fact is, Mr Harwood and his fellow directors are getting increasingly desperate for City to throw their hat into the "abbey" ring as the spectre of extinction grows ever larger.
