Panic?

I suppose you could but there's still 38 games left to play. It doesn't look good at the moment, agreed, but Bedford Town lost all of their first seven games last season and still finished mid-table.
We as fans could panic all we like but it won't do any good. Our esteemed Chief Executive and his cronies would never put their hands up and admit they made a mistake in a month of Sundays. We are stuck with the management team we have got whether we like it or not, unless Mr Batch is an honourable man which I doubt.
Face facts- we are set for another season of struggle, however this time it's different, instead of our usual reasonable start we are the only side without a point after four games. Its all very well saying three of the sides that have beaten us are the top three in the league at the moment, but what about Chelmsford?? - In my view they were a poor side - only we were poorer.
It's all very well playing wide players like Wilde and Clements but you have to give them the service. I don't think I have seen Clements make a cross into the box yet this season. Most of the time he is being made to chase lost causes.
For me yesterdays match was embarrassing, we managed to make the score look reasonable with two in the last 20 minutes but I really don't think we deserved anything out of the game. If Chelmsford were a little better at finishing we would have been looking at a much wider margin of victory.
The only way forward it seems is for the fans to unite around the team and give them all the encouragement they can, whatever your views on Batch. I know he's not up to the job, but we're stuck with him and there's nothing we can do about that. So get behind the lads, don't let your frustration get to them.
I myself am going to try and be a little more refined on here this season. Less of the vitriol and more subjective comments - if i can!

Jacko
