We are scoring goals so there can't be too much wrong with the forward line. We have a defence which minus one player (Fox) is the same as the end of last season when we were pretty solid, now all of a sudden we are leaking goals.
I point the finger at the midfield. It's too weak to prevent other teams dominating the centre areas and so putting our defence under pressure. In the summer we lost two combative midfielders in Wenlock and Challinor, we have done nothing to replace them, Adie Hayes is not going to do the job that they used to. Without ball winners in the middle of the park we are always going to be cut through by other teams. If they are allowed to run at our defence, our lack of pace will be exposed time after time, just like it was against Chelmsford.
