At long last the lads played a passing game which was exciting and rewarding. Nice to see that Batch got it right and even made good sustitutions when needed.
The team looks good, and although Adie Hayes had one of his better games, he is still less talented than Robbie Nightingale. Last night, when attacking on the right he should have crossed the ball, but being only one footed, didn't, and the opportunity lost. Adie also doesn't go for headers. He jumps mainly to put off balance the opposing player......and finally, he bottles out of tackles. Not as much as Billy Bealle did, but I'd play Robbie in the middle any day to add that little more quality.
But there again, I'm not manager. he knows best.(?)
Great performance, just hope that type of display keeps going all season.
Kevin Wilkin is the MASTER when it comes to airial ability. His flicks are masterful. A legend in our time !!!
Young Jenner needs more appearances as he sure looks skillful.
well done Mr Batch and the team. Dover ....well they were a poor team, and incredibly bad tempered. | |
