I missed the Newport game as I was playing cricket, but went to the Chelmsford disaster. My God, I thought all the good work shown at the tail end of last season was undone. The passing game that got us out of trouble was replaced by the same old boot upfield to the front two. That performance was one of the worst Ive seen from City since the Dorchester/Ian Cambridge punching the OAP game. At least against Dover & last night there was a semblance of passing. When will the team/manager realise that we are so, SO much better with the passing game.
Anyone know why Wildey wasn't playing last night ? I know Skelley created both goals, but I think Adam would have cut their defence to pieces.
I reckon Wooding & Vowden make quite a decent pairing, and agree that the defence looks quite secure at present. Against Chelmsford they looked as leaky as a cullender.
