PHILLIPS THREATENS TO RING THE CHANGES - 13/09/2002
Brendan Phillips, manager of Dr Martens League Premier Division club Halesowen Town, has threatened to ruing the changes in the light of a poor start to the season.
Halesowen travel to Cambridge City on Saturday still looking for their first win, and their first goal in four games.
They crashed 3-0 at Bath City on Tuesday, a result which followed a dismal 0-0 draw at home to Dover Athletic.
Phillips (pictured) described the performance at Bath as `poor' and said the midfield was non-existent.
He said: "We created nothing, and barely had a shot on goal.
"The foundation of the team has been built on the defence but they can only do so much.
"I said the current squad would get ten games to see if they can cope with this level.
"Their effort can't be faulted, but I need to move players around, or out to find a winning formula because we are being dragged down."
