In the very near future I am planning to close this forum and move to a new one hosted on my own server. This move will get rid of advertising banners and annoying pop-ups once and for all, plus constant down-time caused by Network 54's maintenance routines.
The new forum will have a registering facility that will allow users to access a range of features, initially registering will not be mandatory and users will be able to post as guests. However, in the future i may decide to make the forum registered users only. If I do, people must understand that this is no "big brother" situation, believe me, I already know who quite alot of the posters are on this board anyway and I have never and will never make that info available to anyone else. All you will be required to give up is a valid email address to register. This system would only be there to deter troublesome one-off posters and spammers who think forums are for advertising.
