| I was interested to read in the CEN that City may put Fox in the squad at Salisbury today. If he isn't totally fit then why bother? We have Louise Evans waiting to play, and it seems he is worth giving a chance...god knows we need some inspiration in midfield, and he may provide it.
My probable team would be:
Nurse
Wooding
Wignall
Vowden
Skelly
Challinor
Wenlock
Evans
Hann
Gutzmore
Wilkin
Wilde
Nightingale
Essendoh
Not that any of those left out are playing badly, just like to see more pace up front, and essendoh doesn't have the killer instict yet, whereas Leon seemed sharp on Tuesday.
Skelly will always get my vote over Fox.
I watched the under 14 youths this week for a short time and have to say the pace and skill level was impressive.
Fingers crossed for today....

He should be getting more chances in the first team, particularly as there seems to be little creation at the moment |

As you have hardly seen Evans play why should you be wishing he plays in the first team?He has no experiance and there is nothing to say he will ever achieve the required standard.

I saw him play a couple of games for us in pre-season on trial and he looked useful.
In any case, why do I have to qualify what I post just for your benefit , "Johnson"?
He is an attacking midfielder and couldn`t do any worse or less that the current midfield. Yesterday there was little , if any creation, but you wouldn`t know as you weren`t there , were you "Johnson"? | |
