Moor Green are riding high in the table, so that makes it an even better win, well done to the team and the management.
Just as well we did win though as everyone around us in the table seemed to win too.
We have to pick up 3 points against Salisbury on Tuesday, no disrespect to Salisbury but anything less is out of the question against a team in their postiton.
It was a very welcome three points at Moor Green on saturday. I have to admit that I didn`t expect us to get anything there as they are quite high up in the league and have quite a decent home record. But credit to our lads they knuckled down and ground out a hard earned win. I`ve hear people say that the players "don`t want to play for Batch", but anyone at that game on Saturday will know that this is certainly NOT the case. Everyone did their bit, it was a good all round effort.
Another three points tomorrow would be great. I reckon , as has been said, 12 points from the last 30 on offer should see us safe. The games against Newport IOW, and Hednesford (twice) , are the key games. I `m sure we can stay up
as I didn't go to Moor Green can anybody tell me why Adam Wilde didn't play?
a vital three points which we need to capitalize on tomorrow - it's a must win game ahead of next Saturday. If we can now put all the criticiism of David Batch to one side and concentrate on getting behind the players and the management things could look a whole lot better by this time next week. Not wanting to look too far ahead but with the confidence boost of (hopefully) a couple of good performances this week we know we are good enough to get a result at King's Lynn.
Full marks to City on Saturday. When they scored in first-half stoppage time I feared the worst, but City worked their socks off to come away with that result.
The players play for CAMBRIDGE CITY not David Batch. I would be very disappointed if they didn't try to win all the games. If they have a dispute with David Batch it should be setlled internally.
Well said.
We really should beat Salisbury but we need to give them some respect, it won't be easy. All to often we do well against the top teams and not against the bottom teams. If the lads show determination and confidence then our superior skills should get us through.
