| when we get relegated (we`ve struggled to stay up for a good few years now) for three reasons, 1. we are basically a club that is in a league too good for a club like ours, 2. we can be in a lower division where we can be one of the better clubs & 3. our ground & small pitch would be plenty good enough for the standard of football so we could be rid of the idea of moving to United`s ground. Call me a silly girl (who should stay in the house) but that`s my thoughts (for what their worth)!. |

You are entitled to yuor thoughts, and even though I think you are wrong, they are a lot less silly than some ideas, thoughts and comments on this Forum. I think Cambridge City are at present worthy of the Dr Martens Premier League. There has been far too much negative comments on this Forum. I think we are in a unjustified position near the bottom of the table, and if we stay up, lets go forward without all this moaning.
I do not agree with some of the directions the management are going in, but all this hearsay re Cambridge Utd, is getting me fed up. Lets wait to hear. Lets trust Hamilton and Co for once. If we do sell out completely to Cambridge Uts, I will be one of the first to complain, but lets wait and see. But lets put this to one side until 4.50pm next Saturday. Lets get behind the team on Tuesday and Saturday. UP THE CITY. |

Paul all credit to you for your positive comment, but the vast majority of fans are depressed, and dispirited by the lack of management skills displayed by those in charge of our club. The fans are confused because our decision makers have yet to make a reasonable case for moving us from our home for the last 90 odd years and seem to have little regard for the fans or their wishes. Team performances have also suffered from uncertainty and confidence needs to be restored quickly if we are to avoid the drop to Eastern Division. At least if we do drop our ground will be up there with the best, probably second after Dorchester. |

Its happening again. I remember so clearly when Neil Harris scored in injury time against Merthyr some years back to save the drop, and here we are again.
I think it'll go to the last game of the season once more, but hope not.
I too think we are too good to drop but something has to happen at some level above the playing staff in the future if we are ever going to gain respect again and settle in the top half of the table.
We, the supporters have sufferred too long.
Going to United is not an option under their current finacial crisis so i agree lets concentrate on Milton rd and our own future which looks bleak.
having said all that, all we ever wanted in our side was a couple of strikers. SCoring goals has been our may downfall in recent seasons.
get that little problem sorted out and we can do much better.
Fingers crossed for this weeek. Its win or go down now, no more games in hand cushion.
COME ON LADS
