Technically incorrect

It was us, Crawley, that sent you down, although the damage was done by Cambridge. As I remember it you'd have needed a cricket score to stay up, but it finished 4-2 (I was there, I should know).

Reassuring that having already relegated Salisbury this year we'll do likewise up at King's Lynn next Saturday - at least that'll please Lilywhite.

And for the record, I think it's more likely to be Bath or Welling (<< fingers crossed) that join Rob the Loyal Linnet and his deviant band of web-footed inbreeds.

CCFC are too good to go down.

Too good to go down?

Nice of you to say so James but I'm afraid our results say different, we just don't win enough games, it's as simple as that. We have a habit of throwing away winning positions, there was plenty of evidence of that when we came to your place!!

I wish we were too good to go down, but the league table doesn`t usually lie. We`ve been fighting relegation for God knows how many seasons now , and had more than our fair share of luck with reprieves. If we do manage to beat both Hednesford and Havant, and survive it will be a shame (honestly) if Kings Lynn don`t stay up too, as they are our local rivals, and the banter wouldn`t be the same.

Personally , I think a win and a draw is the best we could probably hope for, and then we would have hope things went our way.

Fair enough guys. Maybe I am a bit blinded by the fact that whenever we play you it is always an even contest that we struggle to get the better out of.

CCFC, to most Crawley fans, always seem to be one of those sides who are unspectacular but efficient - annoyingly so!

I'd still pay good money to see Welling relegated, and tonight's match at Chelmsford could go some way to making that come true, although admittedly, it's unlikely.

Anyway, just spent a cracking weekend in Cambridge with the missus. You really are lucky to be in such an interesting city. And as for 'Toxic' - cheese extreme but wicked!

Do me a favour next time you go past Garfunkels will you? Chuck a brick through the window!

Oh, and never seen so many geeks (all students admittedly), or ... err ... bikes!
