What a tremendous day for Boston who two years after playing City in the Dr Martens will be playing Cambridge United in the football league. It goes to show what can be achieved with the right people in charge. Boston join Cheltenham and Rushden who were promoted themselves a few seasons back.
I've just read that the earliest time for restructuring the leagues is 2004/5 and that the UniBond and Ryman leagues are voting together against the F.A proposals and want to retain the three feeder leagues to the Conference.
Thank goodness we have not committed ourselves to moving up the Abbey on the basis of some speculative statements.
