I've heard that we have signed a player from Peterborough on a season's loan, don't know any names or what position they play in. Anybody know anymore?

I expect if it is true it will appear in this week's news bulletin on the Official site.

There is a post further down the page that refers to a rumour that Dan Murray was coming in on a years loan. Have just checked Peterborough website and they have a Dan Murray born Cambridge 16/5/82 - 6ft 2in defender. Could this be one and the same.

According to the Posh website he is a defender, do we need anymore? I would have thought that a midfield playmaker or a proven striker would have been the priority.

But then it is only a rumour

could it mean the end for Jack Wignall? He and Jon Challinor seem to be in the frame for leaving Milton Road.

If we have signed another player from Peterborough lets hope he is better than the others signed in the last couple of years. With maybe one exception none were good enough for our first team.

The same comment could just about apply to Cambridge Utd.
