TIME FOR A CHANGE!!!!

DEAN C

I feel it time for a change , i don't thnk that DB knew about the way SH & JG WORKED. I think if he could change things he would get rid of these two prats.. If SH does not like someone thats it he out and thats wrong. If someone good at his job then hes the man.. SH & JG should leave the club and stop taking money out of it .. If you two love this club you will go...

Give it a rest

Havent seen you on this board for nearly a month , and thats the best you can do?

The same tired old anti-this, anti-that patter ....ITS BORING

Why don`t you dry up!

One defeat in the last nine games (no wonder you have been so quiet) and at least three of those draws should of been wins with any luck. It must hurt you real bad , "Dean C" to see City getting results.

Not having a go at the manager? that makes a change. Ever since Batch came in you've been on his back.......beginning to see how wrong you were about him perhaps?

Until Matt Hann's brilliant equaliser against Hednesford, we looked certain to go down. It is understandable if people are worried about prospects for next season. There are legitimate concerns, and people should not be slagged off for expressing these - or tarred with the slur that they don't really want City to win.

I believe that City are a better team than their final league position suggests - and the recent contact signings (particularly Adam Wilde) are very encouraging. If so, it is fair to argue that we have under-achieved under David Batch and that he has still to prove himself. But we stayed up - and he should be given the benefit of any doubt for now. Our position after the first dozen games of next season will tell whether or not he should remain for the longer term.

Held Back

May 6 2002, 10:29 AM

Dean C is right in a way.

DR SH and JG can only take the club so far.

With the ITV Digital crisis hanging over United, City will never have a better chance of catching them, but unfortunately, by not opening up the Boardroom City will blow it. There will be no fresh impetus, no injection of cash, no new initiatives and with SH and JG protecting their jobs City are going to be held back from reaching their true potential and can't move forward.

Yes we really do need new owners. I agree with Jeff that with United in trouble this may be a once in a lifetime opportunity for City to get themselves back on the footballing map. If we seriously want to move up the footballing ladder we should start at the top and not restrict ourselves to two paid officials. Cambridge is a rich town and there must be people out there prepared to invest in the football team they love.
