Bath Programme etc..

Ian and co have said it all re the match today, after the early goal we faded, and compared to the Dover game, we were very poor. As Ian says we must improve for Tuesday. But to get a point was a bonus.

But the Bath City programme is excellent, appears to be a real effort from the Supporters. We can get a few good ideas from this effort. There was diversity in the articles, good reports, good flashbacks and news about a Club Chaplain.

Although only few in number, the City fans really got behind the team today, good to see the team acknowledge that support.

I hope we don't copy the Club Chaplain idea - that's just about the crappest article I've ever read in a match programme.

Rob is entitled to his opinion re the Club Chaplain, but bemused to why he thought it was crap, its about supporting and encouraging people when they need some support. They either take it, or they decide not to, its a choice as I believe the article said. But even if you don't want it, let other people make a decision. I personally believe it to be a good idea, but the time is perhaps not right at City.

Well, in that case a Club Counsellor is what is needed. Why entrust such a support service to a representative from a declining religion that many/most people may not believe in any more? Maybe we could get Susie Orbach or Claire Raynor to write a column.
