Heard last week at the game that Gary will be playing in a charity match at Milton Road, as part of a Cambridge City Veterans XI. Amongst the others turning out aparrently are Laurie Ryan, Keith Pointer, Laurence Cullum. Kick-off 3pm on Sunday 22nd Sept

Yes, there's a Charity Match taking place at Milton Rd on Sunday at 3pm. As you say, it sounds good...

It's in aid of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Rosie, and it's an ex-City XI v a Local Managers' XI (featuring Jewson and Kershaw League players).

I'm not sure if Gary Grogan is appearing, but I believe players such as Steve Gawthrop, Steve Fallon, etc are. It should be good.

Admission is £3 for adults and £2 for children/OAPs.

Why has this NOT been advertised on the Official Site? C'mon Hamilton, get your finger out!!

the charity match has been advertised on local radio and in the local paper for the last week ,so more people will come to the game,not just ccfc fans as not everybody has a comptuer you know.

doesn't mean it shouldn't be advertised on the web does it? alot of people work with computers all day, and seeing as the Charity game has a large Cambridge City bias re those taking part, it seems reasonable to think it would be worthwhile advertising it on the City website.

Not everyone buys a paper or listens to that poxy local radio channel you know!

So far we havnt been able to contact Gary but would love him to be part of things on sunday . If anybody knows his number please let me or Jez know.
