Are we really doing all that we can be???

We can wave flags and sing "God bless America" until we're blue in the face. We can "go after the terrorists" all we want.

But when it comes down to it, these terrorits and their organizations have been 99.9% succesful in what they intended to do in the first place. They have put TERROR and FEAR in the collective heart and mind of Americans. They have changed our lifestyles. (Yes they have, whether you want to admit it or not)

Will the Sears Tower be next?
How about a major league baseball game?
Empire State Bldg. or Statue of Liberty would really play great in New York...maybe after a while.
Nuclear power plants...yes...good choice.
How about places like Kings Bay, GA where nuclear subs are docked?
Railroads lines? Dunno, need something a little more "high profile."
What about the targets they most likely missed last go round? (White House & Capital)

The list goes on as far as we have potential targets.

The terrorists have certainly caused every store carrying gas masks to sell out.

And with the hard-core terrorists they make no hesitation proclaiming the there's a whole 'nother wave of attacks heading our way.

I could go on, but I think you get my drift.
We've been attacked, and we're going to the middle east for an assualt....but we can't guarantee safety in our own country.

Are we doing everything possible? Are we not?
What more needs to be done?

-Joseph

Well, maybe you could print out one or more of these posters and display it/them.

Then follow their advice.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The "fair use" doctrine allows limited reproduction of copyrighted works for educational and research purposes. The relevant portion of the copyright statue provides that the "fair use" of a copyrighted work, including reproduction "for purposes such as criticism, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research" is not an infringement of copyright. The law lists the following factors as the ones to be evaluated in determining whether a particular use of a copyrighted work is a permitted "fair use," rather than an infringement of the copyright:
• the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes;
• the nature of the copyrighted work; • the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole, and
• the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work.
Although all of these factors will be considered, the last factor is the most important in determining whether a particular use is "fair." Where a work is available for purchase or license from the copyright owner in the medium or format desired, copying of all or a significant portion of the work in lieu of purchasing or licensing a sufficient number of "authorized" copies would be presumptively unfair. Where only a small portion of a work is to be copied and the work would not be used if purchase or licensing of a sufficient number of authorized copies were required, the intended use is more likely to be found to be fair.
