Wow.

I am sitting here after an hour of crying at a television show that would otherwise not have affected me. I was wondering what is going on with me, and thought about what my mother-in-law mentioned to me when I last spoke with her.So, I looked it up on the internet, and lo and behold, here I am.
I am a 26-year-old mom of 3 precious little girls, one of whom was born in January of 2001. When she was born, the doctors basically thought it best that I have my tubes tied. And why not? At the time, I was trying to get a divorce from a drunken husband, and I had 3 children he very rarely supported.
But, the last several months have been getting strange. In that, I mean, my periods, though not like most of you, have gotten longer, but lighter. I really only spot for the first 5 or 6 days, then bleed heavily for about 2, then continue spotting for another 2 to 3.
Also, I've been moody and cry at the drop of a hat. I've put that off to stress. I have recently been remarried, and we moved to another state. My grandmother died, and the ex has decided to play Daddy. But honestly, I've been in a stressful situation for the past 10 years, for one reason or another, so I don't think that is the problem.
I can say that I have ovulation pain that makes it difficult to walk at times, as well. The muscle pain is right on target, as well as depression and anxiety. I fight it every day. My allergies have begun a series of flare-ups that last for a month, then I get a month off from them, only to flare up again. There are also other symptoms. I think I had 25 or so of the 41 listed. I was beginning to think I was losing my mind.
My husband and I want to try to have a child of our own. Are there any problems associated with this syndrome and attempts to conceive? I'm sure we will probably do IVF, or would a reversal help my situation? Does anyone have any advice? Email me or respond here, I will check back often. It is so nice to know that I'm not the only one.

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
