Do you have the same problem?

by

I'm so relieved to find thid site. I had a tubal ligation 5 years ago. I was relatively premenstrual before that but now I sometimes think I am losing my mind. I seem to be depressed, my mood swings are hideous, I can be loving one minute then pushing people away and hysterical the next,I feel like i cry all the time, I'm so irritable, my self esteem is through the floorboards,my energy levels are really low, im tired all the time weight gain, lack of concentration, memory, anxious, hot flushes, but not sweating, I have a permanent appt getting my neck adjusted now because i sleep really restlessly. I also had a bit of a hair problem before my tl but now it has grown all over my abdomen, i hate it. My blood tests say my fsh,Lh levels are normal, my progesterone level is 18, the nurse said it should be 25, but that would depend were I was in my cycle( it was due in 10 days at the time)
My testosterone level is 2.3 apparently it should be 3, I couldn't bear the thought of more hair. I have a dr appt tomorrow to talk about my results. Please, please help. I'm not so quietly going bonkers.ps the dr has just diagnosed me as being depressed and i started on aropax a week ago.

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
