It's good to have a MB again!! :o)

It is good to finally have a MB back again! Let's hope this one isn't pulled into the same black hole as our other one was.
This MB is important to our cause. We have to make ourselves heard. To tell the dr's that we are sick and tired of being lied to and used and abused.
We consented to our tubals cuz we "trusted" the dr's that did them to not do anything to us to harm us. Boy, were we wrong. It is sad that they feel a need to lie to us and not tell us the whole truth before consenting to the tubals and then again when we go back complaining of complications post-tubal.
There is a thick veil of secrecy concerning PTS. This is starting to change, at least for us, the women who have had tubals. We know what is happening to us post-tubal is a direct result of the tubals we consented to as we were told they would not harm us.
Let's get together on this issue and make a change in the way tubals are handled. We need to see to it that there are laws put in place to protect our right to "fully informed consent" regarding elective female sterilization. Well, it is too late for most of us, but we can do something to protect our daughters, sisters, and nieces, the next generation of PTS women. It is important that we band together and bring PTS to he forefront of the media in both the medical world and our everyday world.
We look forward to hearing from all of you! Let's get busy and get the ball rolling. Alone, there is nothing we can do, but if we all join forces and become one, then our chances are better of making ourselves heard!
Take Care!! Cheryl :o)

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
