I HAD A TUBAL BECAUSE AFTER MY THIRD CHILD WAS BORN ,MY HUSBAND HAD A VASECTOMY. I WAS ONEOF THE 1% WHO GET PREGNANT AFTER HUSBANDS VASECTOMY! SO I WAS SURE AFTER 4TH CHILD WAS BORN THAT MY FAMILY WAS LARGE ENOUGH,HENCE, THE TUBAL LIGATION. MY PERIODS GOT MUCH WORSE AFTERWARDS AND MY P.M.S. SKYROCKETED. I HAD BEEN IN PAIN FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND THEN ,THIS IS FIVE YRS. AFTER TUBAL, SEX BECAME VERY PAINNFUL. OF COUSE THAT SENT ME TO THE DR. IMMEDIATELY. I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH ADENOMYOSIS,AN ENLARGED,BOGGY,SPONGY UTERUS. I TRIED TAKING PROVERA BUT MY SYMPTOMS ONLY GOT WORSE. NOW I AM PRAYING FOR THE NEW YEAR SO THAT I CAN GET MY PARTIAL HSYTERECTOMY. I AM IN CONSTANT PAIN AND IF MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE SEX, I HURT EVEN MORE FOR 2 DAYS. THEREFORE MY SEX LIFE HAS GONE DOWN THE DRAIN. AS I WRITE I AM IN PAIN FROM A WONDERFUL NIGHT OF PASSION WITH MY HUSBAND. IT HAD BEEN ALMOST 6 WEEKS SINCE WE HAD SEX. I MISS ENJOYING PAIN-FREE LOVE WITH MY HUBBY! NOW I AM CONCERNED THAT I AM GOING TO LOSE MY OVARIES AS WELL. I HOPE WHEN THE SURGERY IS PERFORMED THAT MINE CHECK OUT WELL.

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
