You obviously never made the decision to have a tubal because your doctor told you there were no side effects. You obviously have not suffered the often dibilatating pain and more surgery as a result of a tubal. A tubal that you most likely would not have had if your doctor hadn't lied to you about the complications following a tubal. I find you to be very close minded and it is attitudes such as yours that allow the doctors of our country to continue to lie to women about the numerous complications of tubals. You can't honestly believe that every single one of these women and thousands more who do not post here are just making these symptoms up and that it is all in their head? If you do, then I really feel sorry for the ignorant state you live in. I'm sorry if I am coming across as rude, but I have had to listen to one doctor after another tell me for ten years that my tubal did not cause the numerous health problems that eventually led to my hysterectomy. There are too many things that lead to the very fact that the tubal IS the source of these health problems. These women are not supporting insurance paid reversals so that they can have more children, but so that they can live pain free. If it is even possible to live pain free! I would be willing to bet that not a single one of these women want to have more children, but are looking for a way to live productive, pain free lives!

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
