Unbelievable.....

Welcome to all of you that post here. I am sorry we had to meet under these circumstances. Nonetheless, all of you found this board for one reason or another. . How many more women will come forward and how bad will their stories be? How many more women have to be victimized as we have been, those of us that had tubals, before this insanity stops? Why do the dr's treat us as hysterical women when we go back to them complaining of our many symptoms? Why do they do this to us without telling us that this could happen? I can't think of one reason, one HONEST reason, that dr's would do this to women. I CAN, however, come up with lots of the wrong reasons why dr's do this.In MY opinion, there is no reason for the dr's not to tell us about PTS prior to having tubals, other than their knowledge that we will return repeatedly to them for various treatments to ease our symptoms for awhile.
The time for action is now. Every day, more and more women are finding this message board, AND our post-tubal mailing list. Join us and Join our movement. As Susan says, ZERO TOLERANCE!! We have already paid a hefty price for our desire for permanent sterilization. Now is the time to start making things as right as possible. Before a whole new generation of women develop PTS.

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
