Roberta,
Like you i was really glad to find this mesage board. it;s just good to know you have others you can share your experiences with. i had my tubal done almost 11 years ago. didn't have any symptoms until a couple of years ago. and them several months back all these new symptoms hit me like a ton of bricks. i have been experienceing joint pain, terrible menstrual cycles, cramps, clots, swelling, constant fatigue, no sex drive, lower back pain. i feel like i'm falling apart. went to a new ob/gyn yesterday.was armed with a list of symptoms & blood work that needs to be done. he looked ove my list & said the ptls was not really ackowledged. so he put me on BC. told me he thought i had fibromyalga & spastic colon. i ask for a blood work up be he refused. i have a app. in 2 mon. to see how things are going. i told dr. i knew what my problems was & he lokked at me like i was crazy. i wish i could afford the services of dr. vicki. but i'm totally relying on my insurance to cover all cost..

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
