undecided about tubal

by

Hi I am 5 months pregnant with my fourth child and 2 of those pregnancys are pill babies.I also tried the iud but bled for 28 days streight going thru a pad and super tampon in about an hour. When I first learned I was pregnant again I was all for a tubal and felt that was only choice i had,but now i have been having second thoughts and I am afraid.I tried looking up tubals so i would know what was involved but cant find anything.I did find your site though and now I am really scared to have it done.I am afraid I will feel less of a woman,Im afraid of regret and Im afraid of surgury. Also cant see the since in having this done if I have the chance to bleed all the time or have to take the pill or worse and that is having the cyst and so on.My doctor has not discussed this info to me and I have expressed to him my fear of surgery,Could you suggest anything to me?Even if it is a book to read or what ever you can do legally.I am at a point to where i feel totally lost and I just dont know what to do and every time i go to the docs office whoever is attending to me there says"you are having a tubal right?"Please help me if you can thank you Melonie Tippy

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
