Can't trust anyone.....

by

Hey all!
Just got off the phone with the state medical board. Guess what? They found in the dr's favor. Apparently, the dr's in Ohio have two sets of standards: minimal, and absolute best. It seems that only have to meet the minimal ones, and my requests for bloodwork fell into the absolute best.
What a crock! Boy, am I ticked now!! I kept the lady on the phone for about 15-20 minutes. I told her that my symptoms merited having these tests run, and they should've done them. She said that back in August last year, the tubal dr wrote in his notes that I was to take the BCpill, and the state medical board said that that was enough.
I said, LISTEN HERE!!: Both he and the other dr were going to put me on some form of hormones without testing to see what I needed and how much of it!! One said BC, and the other said progesterone. That is hormonal therapy. I said, how did they know that that was what I needed, there were no tests run to guarantee that they were what I needed???? She asked if my symptoms had gotten any better, and I said no, not at all. I basically brought up PTS, but didn't get into it too much.
When asked if I had any appeals, she said NO. But, that I could hire a lawyer. I said, That takes money, and I don't have it, but the dr's have alot of money, and lawyers in their pockets, there was no way I could go up against them and hope to have any chance of winning, right now, that is!! :o)
What else??? I also told her that both dr's were more than willing to operate to diagnose me, but yet refused to do the less invasive blood tests on me. I said, now they refuse blood tests, what is next?? Withholding oxygen to a dying person cuz they think they don't need it?? And, getting away with it??
Sorry, but this has me riled!! She said that it could be sent to a department that could do a more formal inquiry. That there were dr's and nurses that would look it over. Well, the good ol boys club is hard at work here in Ohio. I am taking them on!!!
I told her that I was not at all satisfied with the outcome and wanted it pursued to the fullest degree there. We'll see what happens. She said that she would let me know what happens, and the dr may end up in bad dr school, but I highly doubt it.
I can't wait til this all comes out and things are finally easier for us!! This is enough to drive you insane!!!! Cheryl :o)

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
