Hi Ladies, May I join You?

by Patty

Finding this Board is a Blessing! Count me in as another Victim caused by a Tubal Ligation. Within a matter of a month-I no longer had a normal period-They would last anywhere from 10 days up to 2 weeks, with Heavy bleeding and the Pelvic Pain was so severe-I would scream in pain. I went to several Dr.s(Every single one would tell me)IT WASN'T caused by having a Tubal-That these symptoms I'm having were from getting off the Birth Control Pill OR It was all in my head. Like each & every one of You here-I knew they were covering up the matter. The Heavy Beeding & Pain
got to where I couldn't take it anymore- It was either a Hysterectomy or find A Dr. That could possibly Put my Tubes back together(if it was possible.) Being only 30 at the time-I knew my best choice would be to have a Reversal. So on My first Visit with this Reversal Dr.-He did a Vaginal U/S on me-and Then goes on to tell me-Both my Ovaries were completely full of Cysts. That was why I was having so much Pain. And I had never ever had problems with Heavy Bleeding, Pain or Cysts BEFORE having the Tubal done. To make a long story alittle shorter-I had a Reversal-Both tubes were (Supposably put back together)I had hundreds of Cysts removed out of each Ovary during The Procedure and also Had adhesions removed from around my Ovaries. But... at the present time- I've learned 1 tube should have never been repaired-It is now Blocked and wasn't connected back properly to begin with. And I still have Problems with Heavy Periods-And Now know Both My Ovaries are no longer functioning right. The bottom line is that-If I would of been informed of the problems associated with a Tubal Ligation-I would of never had it done-And Wouldn't be where I am right now- Butchered and Angry. If there's ever any Law-suit brought against Dr.s (For not admitting Problems caused by Tubal Ligations) Count me in!!!!!!Thanks for Listening to My Story. Sorry it was so Long.
Patty

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
