Lisa, you must believe in yourself first and foremest. I know haw hard it is to believe in something when many educated people are telling you your beliefs are wrong. Listen carefully to your heart,its trying to steer you in the direction that is best for you. There are many doctors in this world. You need to take charge of this situation, and stand up for what ever it is you believe. Or, you could end up like me. I had a $3500 downpayment already with my surgeon, and a surgery date, when I let my OB talk me out of a reversal. That was almost a year ago. Now that I have come to realize that what I thought all along was right for me, it is too late for a reversal, as my FSH Level is too high for a successful pregnancy , and hence no surgeon will now do the surgery. So its perimenopause for me, 7-10 years earlier than all my friends. When menopause will come is a question that haunts me day and night. Find another doctor who will atleast take your opinions into consideration. As women, we have been blessed with the ability to know our body and mind ;It is called INTUITION. We just need to have confidence in our selves, and when our confidence is shaky, we come to sites like these to help restore our belief in ourselves.

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
