Weight Loss

by Brenda

Diane,
I know exactly how you feel!!! Before my tubal I was a size 8-10. Now I am at a size 18. I can't believe it. I have tried eating right with exercise and no luck. I have even cut down to 1 meal a day and drinking only water and still nothing. Now I am tired all the time, having problems breathing and everything. I don't know if it's caused by the tubal or not. All I know is 7 years ago I felt nothing like I do now since having IT done. My problems started 1 month after my youngest was born and the tubal. I was told my hormones were off and was put on pills. That didn't help and everything has gotten worse as the years have gone on. If you do find a way to help with the weight please let me know. I am desperate now. I hate to look at myself in the mirror. I never hated the way I looked until now. I'm at the point to where I hate about everything about myself and I know thats not good.
Sorry to go on rambling like this. I guess I just needed to vent.

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
