Denied hormonal testing, I want to hear from you.....
by
Ladies-
Hi!! I, myself, was denied hormonal testing by two gyn's. One, the tubal dr, and one, well, just a quack! :o) I filed a complaint with the State Medical Board here in Ohio, and thus far, the outcome has been that the dr's did nothing wrong by refusing to test me. I talked to my enforcement coordinator the other day for quite some time. I told her my story, and how I have been told I am peri-menopausal, and advised to go on forms of HRT, without the proper testing to see what I need and how much of it.And asked her if there was any possible way to re-open it, that I was not accepting their decision. I had a right to these tests, and gosh darn it, they were gonna see it my way!! :o) Told by one to take the BC pill, and by the other at first, to take natural progesterone, compounded "just for me." Without any form of hormonal testing whatsoever.
The reason for my post is: I want to hear from ALL of you that have been denied hormonal testing. If you would like to email me at the addy listed from my post, that would be cool. I want to see how many of us that have actually had this happen. I want to hear the reasons you have been told you don't need it.
I, too, was told at one point in time, by the tubal dr, that he would do the testing, but only if I told him what tests I wanted run. Hello??? Who's the dr here??? We have to take charge of our health care. They can't be trusted! Not all, mind you, but a good chunk of them! :o)
So, get ahold of me somehow. Post here, or email me, either way. Thanks in advance!!
Cheryl :o)
CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring.
