You have many symptoms and your guess is as good as anybody's as to which are related to the tubal ligation and which are a consequence of the medications you are taking. Get a Drug handbook or talk to your pharmacist. You can also ask for the package insert on any medicine. It is the same information which is printed in The PDR(physicians desk reference). Look at getting a 2nd or 3rd medical opinion. All I know for sure, is that nothing gets done unless you insist. Be persistent. Be a regular pain in the ___ until you get some answers you can live with. I do not think that you are experiencing a regular perimenopuase. I thing most women who suffe from PTS, have experienced damage to the blood and nerve supply to the female organs and hence our symptoms are more comparable to surgical menopuase than natural. Hormone replacement really helps me. Get the appropriate blood work done, This site includes a bloodwork protocol. If your Dr. will follow it, you will have some asnwers. I too have developed HTN since my TL. Ask your Dr. for a copy of the DASH DIET. It is very helpful in lowering blood pressure, although you may still need to stay on medication. Good luck to you, I know if you continue to search, you will find ways to feel better.

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
