Had High Hopes for my Doc, but.....

by

Went to the Doc again, I have been reading the earlier message about US's. Mine was "normal". The size was WNL. My period gets weirder and weirder.
Any way, went to see him again expressing my concerns, he suggested starting me on a med that will be a "non Mechanical" D&C. Will take this for
10 days then start BC Pills, however since I am 34
and smoke I am unable to begin this therapy. Has anyone tried this form of therapy??? Also requested the levels be drawn, he said he needed to do some research and to call him, I wonder if he will even do these tests. Sounds like my hopes for the "perfect" Doc are shattered.

Also he briefly went over the report from my Tubal
(not the same Doc) and the first thing it said was
"The patient was thorougly informed of the risks and complications" WHAT A JOKE. I requested copies of this for myself 2 years ago sent in $35 and never recieved anything. As a part of the medical community I am thoroughly DISGUSTED!!!!

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
