saliva tests are acurate

by Elizabeth

I understand that saliva tests will not show iron levels, sugar or calcium levels.... that is a CBC or complete blood work up. Those tests are great and everywoman should know all of her levels, but but, if you really want the best test to tell a woman what active hormone is available to her body, than nothing can beat a saliva test. Your hormones are bound in your blood because of the blood binding covering that mother nature puts on it, so that the hormones can travel throughout the system, by way of the blood stream. In saliva they are free and suspended so that the test can give an acurate assessment of what is free and active hormone levels available to the body.
What are you talking about when you say that a blood test will show you what is reversed? I understand that a woman's estrogen level may be higher than her progesterone level, and some may have both of their levels off. What is the pointto your statement that blood test is better. It is better for looking for your sugar levels, iron white blood count, red blood count, HDL, LDL, and all sorts of important information with your blood chemistry. SALIVA TESTS do not test for those things, ONLY HORMONES. You cannot compare the two tests, they are completely different and for my money and experience, you are only wasting your time and money by having a blood serum hormone test.

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
