HI!
I'm Cheryl. A regular here! :o) Here is my two cents worth! *lol*
How have your periods been since your tubal? Have they changed at all? Gotten lighter or worse? Any other symptoms that weren't there before the tubal? If you have noticed changes, this could be the reason you are late.
You could also be pregnant. Stress can do it, or tubals can fail. Since you felt strongly enough to post here, I would advise having a test to see. They can be done, either at home, or at the dr's offices, relatively inexpensively. 5 weeks, huh? Go get the test!! :o)
If it comes back negative, then, I would advise getting your hormone levels checked. You need to find out why this has happened.
The only stupid questions are those that you don't ask. Someone told me that a long time ago, and it is so very true!! :o) Good Luck!! Keep us posted on what you find out. We will try to help however we can. The people here are a good bunch. Really friendly. Would you mind being pregnant again? How old are you? Do you have children already? Do you know what method of tubal they did on you?
Cheryl :o)

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
