It seems as though the rules are rigid. It seems as though women are not supported here when they take different approaches to their situation than is "accepted" by the "masters" of this board. It seems that "all" doctors mentioned here other than Dr. H are either crooks or idiots.
Sometimes I feel that this board is an advertisement for Dr Hufangle's surgery in mexico or her book or HER lab. NOT anyone elses!!!!
This board HAS made me neurotic about my current physician SEVERAL times!!!! And you tell us frequently NOT to be scared! THANK GOD I have my husband to put me in check.
In case you are wondering, I am the one who posted "patience is a virtue" acouple of days ago! I am also the one who was hospitalized in a mental institution 6 wks post tubal. SJB, you have been some help, however, in all the times that I have been posting here since January, I have been more frustrated with this board than helped! I have made strides with my physician. AND it isn't as easy as YOU or DR H may think to find willing physicians to at least be open to this. It has taken me THREE years to establish a relationship with my doctor, AND another two, just to find him in the first place. If he sais he is researching, I believe him! I have NO other reason to believe he is not! How ELSE do you think that I got my mental diagnoses reversed?????? I am Not STUPID, I can make decisions for my self. Just as MANY other women do and can on this board.
I have seen MANY questions on this board go UNANSWERED!!! I have asked some of them. I have also seen you and others on this board jump all over women who have called us ALL stupid for buying into PTS. SO WHY then is DR H doing the SAME THING!!! NONE of us are STUPID!!!!
This is NOT a support board if women with different IDEAS cant safely bring them here, with out being judged or chastised! Yes, people disagree. Yes, some care enough to ask others to consider other ideas. But stop with the pointing fingers, disrespect and lax judgements! If I am to the point of leaving and getting help elsewhere, How many others are considering it as well? To jump all over us and see things only in BLACK and WHITE, seems to be exactly what you are saying most doctors are doing. And it is NOT productive!
Go ahead and argue with me, write what you want, I wont be here to see it.
Another thing!!! For all of you considering Doctor H's Surgery or a reversal....think about this, you were hurt once by someone cutting into you, why risk it again? Especially out of the country? For all of you that want more children? Adoption could be an option. These are just thoughts. I am no way telling you you are an idiot or stupid for not considering them. You are STRONG women. Be strong enough to look at ALL alternatives before you buy into a single one. No one has ALL the answers!

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
