Re:warning... to infer that this site is infected is crazy.

all that is here, this board, the main site, the mail list, etc... are commerical web services.

a virus is not being sent via these sites.

via e-mail one can be sent a virus, but you would have to "open" the attachment that comes with the mail....

recently there was a virus going around that was in the news big time. The Feds caught the guy who created it but it's possible that the virus is still out there. The way the virus worked is it attached it's self to all out going e-mail.(which would then have to be opened by the person recieving the mail in order to be infected...)

The virus also did not make it's self known to the the person who sent the e-mail may not even be aware that the virus is being passed.

Also, that particular virus seemed to affect only the newer operating systems.

as long as one didn't open the attachement they were o.k.

has anyone e-mail you directly a message with an attachment that you did not expect to get or from someone you do not know and then did you open the attachment? Even if you did that's not to say that the message was (or was not) affected or that that's were you "got" your virus.

Computer virus's and bugs each have thier own clocks or triggers and do not become active until a certain time, or until a certain event happens, and your computer could of had the virus for quite some time but it didn't expose it's self until a just recetnly.

regardless, all do need to "take heed" and to virus proof each one own system. - this is a given. It's like owning a car and changing the oil. If you own and use a computer it's possible (and quite likly) that sooner or later your going to pick up a virus. To infer that this particular site is infected and sending them is nuts.

As far as "reporting this (that you've picked up a virus) to the proper authorities" Yes, if you've received a virus you need to do this. Call your interent provider, and anyone else that works on tracking virus's.

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
