Went to see my Dr. He examined my lump and still holds the opinion that he "sees these in a lot of his patients." He ruled out STDs. I asked, "okay, well, what are our commonalities, ages? ethnicity? post-tubal?" He said, various women, ages, etc. We discussed PTS and he asked about my periods, increased hair growth, the regularity of my cycle. I informed him of my heavy periods, no facial hair, but loosing head hair and my cycle is a 30-day cycle--I believe I've been having a regular cycle, just the cramps and first day of HEAVY bleeding. He basically gave me the option of having some tests done. I said, let's do it. Since this visit came so quick to the Dr., I was not prepared to have these test done so quickly. My call to him was because of my lump appearing for the 2nd time within 5 months in the same place. I do have a prescription for the following tests based on what the Dr. and I discussed yesterday:
1.CBC
2.DHEA Sulfate
3.Total testosterone
4.DX:626.2 (this is at the bottom of prescrip. note)
5.Pelvic ultrasound (for the come-and-go-all-day pinching pain deep, center right side of pelvic.
CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring.
