How many women have problems with tubals?

by

Hi all,
I have been talking to friends at work about my problems and suspicions of having PTS, and many are very skeptical. Many of them have had tubals and say they don't remember having any problems... Does anybody know how many women DO have problems out of those that get tubals? Also, since I only had mine clipped (banded), I get the feeling I'm not "allowed" to have problems because it is not as drastic a procedure as the cutting/burning kind.
By the way, I faxed my doctor a note demanding blood tests after she prescribed me the pill, and she is going to call me tomorrow to "discuss" it. How much do ya wanna bet she tries to talk me out of getting blood tests? I am not one for confrontation, and I just hope I can stick to my guns. I hate this feeling of having to fight every step of the way just to find out what's wrong with me! It's ridiculous, and very discouraging. It makes me just want to get a reversal and go on the pill for the rest of my life, since it seems like I'll be on them anyway, if I take my doctor's advice!
How frustrating!

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
