We are writing Oprah because....

we want to get her to do a show on PTS. Dr. Vicki has been on her show before and we are asking her to once again have her back on and discuss PTS and FRS. To let the others out there that are suffering alone, thinking they are going crazy, that what is wrong with them is very real. Those that aren't fortunate enough to have the luxury of the net and this MB and our mailing list.
She gets TONS of emails, so if you chose to email it has to be short, sweet and to the point. Snail mail is also advised. But, again, say as much as you can in the least amount of words.
We have also been emailing the other reputable talk shows. Like Roseanne, Leeza, you know, the ones that are respectable. Sorry, I do think that some of the daytime talk shows are trash. I know all do not agree with me, but that is my opinion. :o)
You will not find a section on tubals and PTS at Oprah's site. You have to go to contact(email?) Oprah, then go in and chose show topic and then type in your message and hit submit.

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
