I have read some of your prior posts and it appears you are having some real problems. The blood clot is serious stuff and if I were you I would consult a good Internist besides your ob/gyn, or maybe even a Vascular Specialist. You have 3 boys that need their MOM, so don't take the hormone treatment lightly. I do not know much about Depo Provera, so I am no help on this subject. I would really put resolution of the thrombophlebitis before the hormone treatment, unless the hormone treatment is to help dissolve the blood clot. A blood clot can dislodge and travel to other areas, where it can cause serious longterm disability or even death. Please make sure you are getting a well qualified opinion, or several, on this course of treatment with hormones, as well as most importantly for your blood clot. I had a TL 5 yrs ago, during C section for my 3rd child. I am 40 yrs old and have been experiencing early ovarian decline for past 2 years. I have almost all the symptoms posted on the symptom list and am always looking for new information on PTLS and treatment of its symptoms. I recently had a laporoscopy to evaluate chance for reversal, but, I have no tube left on the right side at all and only 2 cm left on the left side. This is too little to reverse. This also explains why I have so many problems, as with out your tubes, you are menopausal. I currently take HRT in the form of a patch and natural progesterone. Looking into ART (assissted reproductive technology) I am considering IVF. Waiting on results of my last FSH, which probably won't be very good. Thinking of an egg donor program. I know this all sounds so radical, but I am willing to investigat all possibilities, including FRS, by DR. H. Good Luck to You!!!!!!

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
