Became pregnant after my ligation, Need answers as soon as possible. SCARED!!!!!!!!

by

I had my tubes tied 5 years ago, in February of 1999 I became pregnant. After 5 home pregnancy test and then 2 blood test, I finally knew that i was indeed pregnant. But how? My tubes had been tied. I did begin to get happy. I had my tubes tied at an early age (21). My husband died of natural causes at an early age. Now I am 27 years old with a fiancee who does not have children. So this was a suprise for me. At 6-8 weeks pregnant I begin to spot which turned into a miscarriage. I was given a apology by the same doctor who performed my tubal but never can get any clear answers as to why this happened of if it will happen again. I have most of the symptoms form post tubal. What should I do? Is this dangerous to my health? Can I become pregnant again or just have a reversal tubal? Are there any test that I should request? Please Help!!!

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
