Tubal Ligation and Problems

by

Hi!

I had my Tubal done 3 months ago, my body has never felt right since,
and the cramping has never seemed to go away. I am now on my 3rd bladder
infection, I feel swollen inside and very tender I burn in both lower
left and right hand sides of my abdoment, My periods are twice as heavy
and long as before.

I now have developed this on going pain in my right and left ovary. that
has been alomost constant since the surgery 3 months ago. I feel tired and sick to my
stomac, My body has broken out in rashes a couple of times and I itch from head to
toe most times.

I've been arguing with doctors, they say it's an ovarian Cyst and they
will watch it over the next couple of months. However they have not done
an Ultrasound.

Knowing my body the way I do, I feel strongly that my body is rejecting
the Filshie clips, similar to the way it has rejected an IUD in the past. I am allergic to
Latex and had to have a latex free surgery, Upon doing my own internet research I have
discoved that the Filshie Clips are made of Titanium and Silastic Rubber. Is this
considered a Latex product? Can this be my problem an allergery to the clips?

Have you heard of such a thing?

Waiting for a reply

Thank you

Twyla

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
