I had similar Symptons _ Allergy to Silicone in the Clips

I read your message and I just had to reply, I had my Tubal in October 99, since then I had problems like you would not beleive, It started with severe cramping, heavy bleeding, headaches, dry skin, tingling hands and feet, depression, Brain fog, itchy skin, rashes, spuratic feavers, Lower back pain and exaustion, Then it moved into Hives, Swelling, Weight Gain. and I was diagnosed by two different doctors with Ovarian cysts...I could go on but I'm sure you got the point... I researched the net and stumbled upon a site with latex allergy symptons... BINGO>.. I had them all. I am allergic to Latex but the manufacture states that The Filshie Clips ... have Silicone in them not latex... I wen't to see an allergy specialist and guess what I was allergic to Silicon. . I got a referral back to the doctor that did the origional surgery, he didn't belvie me because a reaction is so rare... But he did the surgery 3 weeks ago... I insisted.... I feel so good it's incredible, I have my brain back I can think... and all the pain is gone. no more itching, swelling or hives, in 3 weeks I have dropped 10 lbs and have so much energy... The toxins from the allergy were killing me.... And the Doctors don't want to admit that their might be a problem... I hope this helps and you keep searching until you get your answers....

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
