Elizabeth, I know that 3 C-Sections are hard on your body but, I have a few friends who have several children. One has 7 children. You can have a C-Section and then give birth vaginally. It's done all the time. Is there a reason for the repeated C-Sections? I believe your life will be at greater emotional risk with a tubal or hysterectomy. I am 42 and the tubal has nearly ruined my life at times. Except for my faith in God it would have. Please don't let man dictate what you have to do through fear. If your desire is to serve God with the children he entrusts to you, don't you think he can take care of you. Women have had large families for years. In fact my friends with large families and NO TL or HYSTERECTOMY are the livliest, happiest families because MOM is so emotionally stable. Also, God made our bodies to bear babies. It is extremely hard for me to believe your life is indanger and that you need a hysterecomy because you will have had 5 children. Think about this. My husband's family is catholic, I'm baptist. His mom is one of 7 and his dad one of 11. Please don't let fear persuade you into having this done. Doctors consider large families unnecessary. Follow your heart, but remember once you do this the emotional and physical problems that follow are enormous. I only speak from experience and love. God bless you and your family

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
