Extreme paid first day of period

by

Dori,

It's been almost five years since my tubal and I'm trying to remember whether I was actually on my period when this happened to me or not. I'm pretty sure I was.

It was my first period since the birth of my son and my tubal. The pain just came on all of a sudden and was excrutiating. When my husband got home, he took me to the ER. They examined me and said I had a corpus leteum cyst and that it should go away by itself.

Needless to say, I never had this problem before the tubal. This happens to me about every 5-6 months. I can't find anyone willing to investigate further or do anything about it.

When all this started, I never knew so many women were having these sorts of problems. I thought it was just me. At first, I didn't even link these things to my tubal.

I've now decided that I didn't choose to be this way, didn't ask for it and I'm sure not going to take it laying down. I will continue to search for a doctor until I find one that will listen and do something about this. I hope you will do the same. It's an awful thing to have to go through.

Good luck.

Sheena

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
