Stuck also

by

Hi Dena, I have alot of problems after my tubal in Feb 2000. I talked to my NEW gynie about reversal. I had a tubal banding. She informed me that the part of the tube that is banded off is already destroyed and dies off. Sounds morbid, don't it. She also said that getting it reversed would be a major surgery and probably just add more problems to the occuring ones. I feel stuck and really sorry I had it done. Considering I never even ask for this tubal. The darn MALE gynie insisted I needed it to help back up an endrometrial ablation I had done for irregular bleeding. I know this group has really helped me out just by having others to talk to. I am going to try natural HRT. The pain in your belly button can possibly be from adhesions or scar tissue. I know alot of people who suffer with that. Fortunately, I don't have that problem but I have just about everything else that goes with PTS. You know, this PTS is so awful. No doctor really understands. I'm truly convinced I have to live with it and help myself in any way possible through reading, writing, crying, and lots of prayers. You take care, JONI

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
