period's all screwed up!

by

I am 29 years old. I had my tubal done about 4 months ago. Since then I haven't really had a normal period. I went to my doctor last month because my period is really light with a brownish/yellow discharge but what concerned me was the odor of it. Sounds gross but it had a true blood odor sort of an odor that you smell after you had a bad cut or wound. Very aweful! She gave me an antibotic because she said it was Bacteria Vaginosis. Well I was doucheing since I had the operation, I would let my husband go in me. So vaginosis did make sense because when you douche she told me my own bodies defense was interupted and can cause infection. So I took the medicine and I haven't douched but I still have a discharge...and now im on my so called period and it is not normal...same thing appeared. Has anyone experienced this? Is this being caused by letting my husband go in me? I am very concerned because I am suffering the ichiness...dry skin and I am getting fuller...bloated all the time. Went up a whole cup size. But my period isn't the same since my operation. Any input or relation to this topic will be helpful. Thanks

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
