Reversal or hrt

by

Hi!
I have tried to search on this forum. I am suffering from PTS.
I sent an intro and questions yesterday and my message has not appeared on here yet so I do not know if my message has been thrown out (I do not know what it would be). I would really like to know the answers to my questions soon because my moood swings are getting out of control so I really need to know the answers!!

My husband wants me to have a reversal done if my ovaries are not dead. It has been a year and 3 months since I had my tubes tied (cauterized). I am unsure about having a HRT or a reversal.
I feel like that taking HRT is for menopausal women and I am not even near the menopausal age yet. I am only 27 years old.

My question-

Those of you that had reversals-Did your problems go away??Did you have take any hormone therapy after?? (This question is only for the ones that had reversals)

Now the ones that are taking HRT-Did this help?? Was is worth it?? Are you still having problems with pelvic pain even when taking HRT?? Did you still have to have a hysterectomy?? This is my fear when taking HRT that hysterectomy will become necessary later.

Now I figure that I might have a good chance for a reversal since my tubes were done not to long ago. However the thought of having another surgery is kind of EEEKKK! Like I said above reversal or hysterectomy later in life.

I really hope this message goes through!

Thanks-
smfeet

Take the Tubal Ligation I.Q. Test Are you outraged? Feel as though you and other women were not (are not) being informed? Think that a class action lawsuit should be filed on behalf of post tubal women because information was and still is being withheld by the ACOG! The CPTwomen invites all reading this forum to join the CPTwomen and communicate with us at the members' forum. All posting here and conversation here has been moved to the members' forum.

CPTwomen members have testified in front of the IL and CA Court, the IL Gov. Task Force, the Sunset Review Committee, (Senator Liz Figueroa), NOW, and more. What occurred has been made a matter of public record. The CPTwomen are making public the issues which millions of other women have faced in silence. Issues such as women are not informed at the time of their tubal ligation that there is a risk of hormonal imbalance occurring. For the CPTwomen to continue its mission to move this issue to the forefront of government, we must ask for a small contribution/subscription fee from all those who wish to communicate with us and participate at the Coalition's Bulletin Board
